speaklightly - (August 21, 2004) As a professional digital camera lecturer, I must admit that the Fuji E-550 was a very pleasant surprise for me. Priced at about $340, this digital camera produced digital photos that were much sharper, more detailed, and more excellent than I, frankly expected. I found the digital camera very easy to use right out of the box. While this digital camera does have a 12mp interpolated image size available, I found the 6mp native image size to have more contrast, detail and resolution. As you might expect in a consumer digital camera, the digital camera's flash is not very powerful. At 200 ISO it will produce excellent exposures out to 13 feet. By adding a supplementary slave flash such as

snufalufagus1 - (September 24, 2004) I spent a LOT of time investigating digital cameras online -one would think I was buying a car or something. Anyway I am a novice camera user and remain very impressed with this little guy. I would certainly recommend it. The movie mode is great for 'vignettes' or small movie snapshots. I also use the black and white a lot. I also didn't think the LCD would matter very much, but it does: I never use the viewfinder. I appreciate the large size of the LCD when passing the camera around to friends to view pictures and movies. Hint #1: Immediately jack up the megapixel resolution to 5 so that you can capture moments in the best resolution possible. Then, bypass Sony's ridiculous profit margin

joysmahal - (October 27, 2004) This camera is awesome. I upgraded from a Canon A70 and it was well worth the money. The Canon A95 uses 4 AA bateries, but it eats through normal alkalines way too fast. I highly recommend getting rechargeable NiMH AA batteries and a quick charger. The swivel screen is a major plus, it's 1.8" compared to 1.5" from the Canon A70. The screen is also higher resolution than the A70. I have used the camera for 3 weeks and printed about 50 pics so far. The pics look great and I even cropped to zoom in on some pictures and you couldn't see any sign of pixelation. I love the manual flexibility with this camera, plus the automatic modes make it easy for anyone to use. The camera

1 Star Review The purchased item, was NEVER delivered

mohi4117 - (11/27/2009) I paid for a Windows XP Professional CD to this merchant, through this website. But, I NEVER Received the CD. I called the customer service, no one lifted the phone. I emailed the customer service, they replied that it was delivered to a wrong location and they said that they do not know where it was delivered. Also they refused to provide the signature confirmation, of the wrong place, where the item was delivered, since according to them the postal service used by them, was a free service. I have filed a claim against this merchant (who is so called anigiri on the website), about not delivering me, the item I payed for.

5 Star Review Best bang for the buck in the entire flat screen market

nineradvocate - (11/27/2009) I'm another member of that group of near obsessive compulsive electronics shoppers. I spent 4 months researching and viewing TVs up close and personal before I finally pulled the trigger on this TV from an enormous online seller that I don't think advertises here, so I won't mention their name (rhymes with Paula Zahn). I own 2 other flat screen televisions - a 3 year old 42" 1080p LCD Toshiba and a 2 year old 26" Samsung LCD in my bedroom. I am a regular reader though infrequent poster at AVS Forums. Spent years listening to plasma fans go on and on about superior features, but Ic ouldn't get past the well known downsides, especially the power consumption. To cut to the chase, this set delivers. Power usage is in the 250W range (at peak). The screen is anti-relflective, even when off. The picture is absolutely stunning. SD content is watchable. I love the SD memory card slot on the side, along with an extra HDMI connection. In the store, you may feel compelled to pursue the G10/G15 models from Panasonic. In a word, don't. The primary difference between the two is Viera cast, Panasonic's internet widget - it's a gimmick, and it's also available on their excellent DMP-BD60 Blu Ray player, which I got for free during a Panny promotion. That extra feature will set you back about $200 more. Not worth it. A quick word about calibrating - Some helpful folks at AVS forums have posted some easy to input generic calibration settings. I just copied these and tweaked slightly. Am extremely happy with the results. Movie nights with this thing are awesome. Because of the deep blacks (no light leakage making the screen look indigo, like my otherwise excellent LCD), once you kill the lights in the house and plop down on the couch, you will feel like you're in your favorite local digital cinimaplex. Yes, it is that good. I don't know what else I can add to the other reviews of this set other than to say that I wall mounted it (monoprice.com - $40 shipped for a premium wall mount), and my family and friends' mouths all hit the ground when they saw it. It is quite simply the best bang for the buck TV on the market as of Q3/Q4 2009.
